Whether you’re getting ready for work, in a long line, on your lunch break, or stuck in SLEX Christmas traffic en route to a Christmas party that’s weeks too early, you have the power to make the most out of your time. In fact, these moments are some of the best times to tune in to podcasts. Essentially, a podcast is radio on-demand. With podcasts, you can listen to stories, learn new things, and gain insight into what’s happening around the world so you can grow and listen to what inspires you when you need it. All you need is a smartphone, an internet connection, and a pair of earphones.

At Victory Alabang, we’ve already launched two podcasts for you: a preaching podcast that allows you to listen to last week’s preaching in case you missed it, and Preaching in Practice, a podcast that talks about last week’s preaching and how we can put it into practice today.

2. Find the best time to listen.

For most of us, the best time will be to listen while we’re on the road. Music is great, but podcasts give us an opportunity to learn something new and time to think and reflect. For others who spend most of their time at home, maybe the best time is during downtime or while working on chores.

3. Really want to listen.

Listening is a choice. This doesn’t come easy for most of us, but when we value growth, we treasure every opportunity to gain insight and learn more. Podcasts are one of the many resources available to us right now.
